GasOps was founded in 2012 with a simple mission: Move Beyond Rhetoric and Create Sustainable Value Recent regulatory changes are driving gas utility companies to take a more data centric and asset centric approaches to “know their systems”, enhance operational efficiencies, and mitigate risk. To satisfy these needs, companies need help to implement innovative solutions.
After developing the 16-digit gas industry barcode (ASTM F2897), we began to develop algorithms to implement the newly created bar codes. What began as a personal project has now evolved into a powerful business intelligence solution.
